Our classes are led by Morris West, ensuring instruction that reflects both leadership and real-world experience. The program is overseen by our Chief Operating Officer, a highly respected security expert, retired Chief of Police, and graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy.

We are committed to equipping future security professionals with the knowledge, skills, and discipline necessary to excel in the security industry.

To reserve your seat in the upcoming security class, a minimum deposit of $100 is required. This covers half of the total cost which is $200.

Below is a written agreement that must be signed and filled out completely in order to begin the training school.

I _______________________________agree to enroll and attend forty-two (42) hours of security training class as prescribed by Florida State Statues Section 493.6303 (4). I understand that I must complete the final examination with a passing score of seventy-five (75%) in order to receive a certificate of completion issued from United Protective Security Services for qualification to receive the Class D (unarmed) Security Officer License

I understand that it is my responsibility to attend all forty-two (42) hours of class and to complete the examination. No weapons of any kind shall be permitted on site by students. No refunds shall be given for incompletion of class, failing the examination or for not attending the entire forty-two (42) hours. Any make up classes will have to be schedule for the next session and incur a fee of one-hundred ($100.00). Notwithstanding, a medical emergency absence, only then will the student be allowed to reschedule the course for the next available class in a future offering of the course at no additional cost. The curriculum for the course will be the curriculum as provided by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing. This course will be taught on five (5) consecutive days totaling in forty- two (42) hours as prescribed by law, commencing on our about ___________________, 2025.

I, __________________________, the undersigned student, understand by signing this agreement that I cannot be employed as a Security Officer unless the Class D course and its entirely is completed and a certificate has been issued by the registered DS Security Training School is submitted to the Department of Agriculture Division of Licenses along with the necessary documents and fees and is approved by the State for the Class D Security Officer license. The issuance of the state license is at the state’s discretion. Further, I understand that the payment of the state fees is my responsibility. The school United Protective Security Services, Inc. hereby declares that it is licensed by the State of Florida to be a provider of the class D Security Training course. I accept the terms prescribed within this written agreement. I further agree that no portion of the class or curriculum shall be photography, photocopied, recorded or reprinted without the written consent of United Protective Security Services.
